Note about enabling Flash

 

This guide gives directions on how to enable Adobe Flash in modern browsers for sites that require it to function properly. However, it should be noted that Flash is being deprecated due to security vulnerabilities in the software and will likely be obsolete in the near future. Anyone enabling Flash in their browsers should be aware of possible risks, and only enable for trusted sites.

Enabling Flash in Chrome

1) Navigate to the page or resource. If you see a message that indicates flash is needed, click on the lock icon in the left-hand corner of the URL bar:

Then click on "Site Settings" from the drop-down menu that appears

Then select "Allow" from the options available to the right of "Flash" in the following menu:

Enabling Flash in Microsoft Edge

To allow Flash for a given webpage, first navigate to that page in your browser window, then click on the lock icon to the left of the URL bar:

Then click on "Allow Adobe Flash" towards the bottom of the gray box that appears:

Once you have clicked on "Allow Adobe Flash," you will need to refresh your browser to see any changes.
