Before contacting Classroom Technology, try the troubleshooting tips in center of page. Also, try contacting Riley to see if he has time to troubleshoot prior to calling support.

Troubleshooting Tips

Problem: Nothing happens when the flash drive is plugged in

  • Make sure the computer is awake
  • Press the start button (one button and hard drive start) and see if the OBS Kiosk screen comes up
  • Insert the USB drive and try again

Problem: PC screen is black when using the projector

  •  Press the Windows Key + P (Easy display Switcher) and choose Duplicate. This should display the content on the presentation computer and project the content on the screen.

Problem: Message that the flash drive is not formatted

  • Check the flash drive. If the student is not using a UI flash drive, you can try using one of the flash drives available at the desk

Problem: Screen color needs to be changed 

  • there is a switch on the box behind the projector 

Problem: Other issue- try restarting the Mac computer in the drawer 

  • You will need to enter login (see left side of this page) on restart 

Problem: Camera is not Displaying

  • Check to make sure the camera is on. Turn the camera on with the small silver button located on the top, right corner (your right as your facing the camera).
