Classrooms

West Classroom:

  • The projectors have two lights on them, one for power and one for the lamp. Two red lights = dead lamp.
  • Make sure the small IR detector on the back of each projector is firmly attached. This should ensure we don't need to turn off the projectors manually.
  • Resolution should be set at 1024 x 768.
  • Use the small input toggle switch for projecting from laptops.

East Classroom:

  • If projection is fuzzy, turn the box under the podium off, then on. If necessary, unplug.
  • The closet rack status and the projector status need to be in synch; we shouldn't need to turn the projectors on and off manually. To activate the rack switcher, press the red button until it flashes.
  • If several computers and monitors in the classroom stop powering on, click the three "monitor" switches on the right hand side of the control pannel to the "on" positions.
