Account Log In:
To Review Patron Reservations:
The bookings explorer will allow you to see what rooms and dates the people have reserved.
- Log in to an administrator account.
- Select the orange "Room Bookings" tab.
- Lower on the page, select the blue/grey "Booking Explorer" tab.
- Pick the Room(s) that you would like to review and the dates.
- Select the Submit button.
- The results will display by date according to the from/to date limits you chose.
About:
- Hardin Library has 9 group study rooms that can be reserved.
- Rooms: 207C, 318, 319, 414, 415, 3-A, 3-B, 3-C, 3-D
- Rooms vary in size and can accommodate from 2 to 12 people.
- Group study rooms are available when Hardin Library is open.
- Library hours
- If a group study is not reserved, it is available for walk-in group use.
- The One button studio can also be reserved and does not require a group.
For Staff to reserve a room:
- Log in using administrative credentials
- Select the Orange "Room Bookings" tab.
- Select the Grey "Room Availability" tab.
- Use the pull-down menu under "Room Booking Preview" to select "Hardin Library Group Study Rooms"
- At the bottom of the page, you should see a grid with room availability. There is an "Add Booking" link on the bottom right side of this grid. From this link you should be able to add a same day or other booking.
For patrons to reserve a room:
- Go Here
- Select the available time slot(s) in the grid.
- Hover over the blue “i” next to the room name for information about the room and a photo.
- Make the reservation at least 24 hours in advance.
- Patrons can select up to 4 hours per day, up to 5 days in advance.
- Use a uiowa.edu email address for reservations.
- Check email for a confirmation message, which gives the option to cancel.
Reservations may be canceled:
- If just one person reserves the room (i.e., no group).
- If your group does not arrive within 15 minutes of the reservation's start.
Single Rooms:
- Hardin Library has approximately 15 individual study rooms on the 4th floor, available on a first come-first served basis.
