Connecting to Eduroam
- connect multiple devices such as laptops, tablets, and smartphones to the Eduroam network using HawkID@uiowa.edu and HawkID password.
- when UI affiliates visit other academic institutions that utilize Eduroam, they will automatically be connected to wireless internet without having to reenter their credentials
- gaming and entertainment devices may not be able to connect to Eduroam. Instead these devices will need to be connected to UI-DeviceNet.
- If a user has trouble connecting, refer them to ITS help desk
- Users who are not affiliated can use the guest network for free. If UI affiliates are using guest network, they will not be able to use Office 365
