Scope and Contents of Collection

Himie Voxman’s manuscript research consists of approximately 10 linear feet of manuscripts dating from the 1950s and 1960s. It is organized alphabetically by composer last name, and then alphabetically by work within each composer. It documents his career as an accomplished musicologist and arranger of modern editions of historical works.

Included are photocopied manuscripts of historical works from music archives throughout Europe, full and partial manuscript arrangements by Voxman, and related modern editions.
