For the first rotation the main goal is to get comfortable reading PICU and NICU and pediatric trauma radiographs. You are expected to be able to identify critical findings including but not limited to:

Catheter position
Pneumothorax
Pleural effusion
Pneumoperitoneum
Pneumatosis intestinalis
Portal venous gas
Fractures
