Screening With EndNote
Excel, EndNote, or another reference management tool may be used to screen records. The following article describes a process for the title/abstract screening, verdict assignment, and comparisons of results among multiple reviewers in EndNote:

The tools listed provide help in managing and organizing the screening process. You can export citations from most of the major reference management tools to any of these programs.

CovidenceA web-based subscription tool for screening and data extraction and allows multiple team members to access the project. A free trial that allows import of up to 500 references is available.

Distiller-SRA subscription tool that supports web based record screening, data extraction,and report generation. Supports multiple reviewers and facilitates appropriate collaboration.

EPPI Reviewer 4EPPI-Reviewer 4 is developed and maintained by the EPPI-Centre at the Social Science Research Unit at the Institute of Education, University of London, UK.

JBI SumariA subscription tool that supports the tasks of protocol development, study selection, risk of bias/critical appraisal, data extraction, data synthesis, and report writing. Has options for 10 different review types. A 14-day free trial is available.

PICO PortalA web-based subscription tool for screening, data extraction, and other tasks. A free version allows users to use the tool for one project. It allows multiple team members to access the project.

RayyanA web based tool to aid in screening records for inclusion. The free version allows users to have three active projects at once time. It includes a mobile app and allows for screening offline. Some user have reported that functionality varies with the browser used. Edge has been more reliable for some users.

RevMan: Review ManagerReview Manager (RevMan) is the software used for preparing and maintaining Cochrane Reviews. RevMan is free of charge for Cochrane reviewers, and also for academic use.
