The University of Iowa Special Collections & Archives welcomes users of all kinds to explore our collections of rare books, manuscripts, University Archives, Iowa Women’s Archives, and other unique collecting areas. Whether it be bringing your college class to experience primary resources firsthand, or having a Special Collections staff member introduce your community group to archives, our department is committed in making our collections accessible to the public. We welcome anyone, including groups who are not affiliated with the University of Iowa, who are interested in bringing a class. Not sure what materials to even start with? Not a problem, as a staff member would be happy to select materials based on your class needs. We look forward to working with you!
