ClearView+ Document Reader

The ClearView+ document reader uses cutting-edge technology to make reading easier and more enjoyable for everyone, especially individuals with low vision. Simply place your item on the platform and use the intuitive one-button control to adjust the monitor for larger print and more accessible text.

How to Use the ClearView+ Document Reader

To use the ClearView+:

Step 1: Press the red button to turn the ClearView+ machine on.

ClearView+ document reader power button, which is small and red and situated between the adjustment knob and the reader platform under the monitor.

Step 2: Place your item on the platform below the monitor.

A book has been placed on the ClearView+ platform beneath the monitor.

Step 3: Adjust the monitor and use the one-button control to enlarge text. To adjust the ClearView+ platform, lightly push it forward, backward, left, or right. To zoom in or out, turn the dial.

The ClearView+ adjustment knob is a dial below the power button. This dial is also the component of the document reader that is physically closest to the ClearView+ user.

Step 4: Read and enjoy. 

The ClearView+ Monitor displays a book open to a chapter titled A Brief Journey Through Islamic history.

Where to Find the ClearView+ Document Reader

The Clearview+ is located near the Holds and Course Reserve shelves along the eastern wall of the Main Library Service Commons on the same side of the first floor as the Service Desk.
