Circulation: Interlibrary Loan
Overview
When a patron cannot find material at the University Libraries, the person can use Interlibrary Loan (see Missing Items).
Interlibrary Loan books are kept on the hold shelf among books from campus libraries. Each book has an identification slip around the front cover and a loose slip inside.
Interlibrary Loan operates on a system called ILLiad (ILLiad Web Circulation). An Icon for ILLiad appears on the desktop, and there is a link on Dashboard (staff home page). ILLiad uses a separate ID and password.
