- Scan the item's barcode.
- Reset Alma to loan: Manage Patron Services.
Book Returned
2-Hour Reserves: Overnight Loans
A reader can borrow a 2-hour reserve book overnight.
If the person checks out a book within 2 hours of the service-desk closing, the they can return the book during the first hour the next day the service desk is open.
Example
| The service desk closes at | 9 pm |
| Patron borrows the book after | 7 pm |
| The service desk opens the next day at | 8 am |
| The book should be returned by | 9 am |
Renewals
- To renew an item, just check it out again!
- There is need to return the material first.
- Tell the patron the new due date/time.
You may occasionally receive a "blocked" renewal notice. To fix the problem, simply click on the OVERRIDE prompt to proceed with check-out.
