Additions / Corrections
See something? Say something!
Or sometimes, do something!
It's difficult to keep pages like this up-to-date without everyone pitching in. If you see something that is dated, incorrect, or just makes you scratch your head, please let Cathy, Janalyn, or Carolyn know. If it's something you know you could just fix in a jiffy yourself, go for it! You're all editors on this guide, so you can make quick fixes yourself. We'd like to try to get things corrected as quickly as possible. For substantive changes, and you're just not sure if you should do it, just ask.
Also, if you think it would be helpful for something else to be on this new dashboard, do let us know or drop a new box/tab in and we can discuss.
This dashboard is, and always will be, a work in progress.
Reporting Issues
If you notice (or a patron reports) a problem, please be sure to report it using the following options. If you think more people might appreciate a heads up, a quick note sent to the LIB-DESK email will reach the Service Desk staff, HSS, and UED. If you want to reach more people the LIB-LIAISONS list is also an option.
For incidents involving people:
- while the event is occurring, either email lib-slc@team.uiowa.edu or use the SLC notification form to provide Senior Leadership Council members with basic and timely information.
- Then fill out the Incident Form to document the incident as soon as possible after the incident is over.
For incidents needing custodial or facilities help, fill out the Facilities Issue Reporting Form
For issues involving our online resources
- Utilize the Electronic Resources Problem Report
- For reported issues with Primo/InfoHawk+ (ALMA, AEON etc.) contact lib-it-help@uiowa.edu
- For reporting cataloging issues contact lib-oops@uiowa.edu
