Meet Our Students
HSS Graduate Student Assistant
Catie Reynolds is a graduate student in the Library and Information Science program at the University of Iowa. She is pursuing academic librarianship with a passion for advancing information literacy in higher education. In her free time, Catie likes to cook, rewatch her favorite crime dramas like Criminal Minds and the Mentalist, and tries to make progress on her TBR pile before acquiring new books (Ann Napolitano's Hello Beautiful is hopefully next!). Her reading interests span a variety of genres, including YA, historical fiction set during WWII, 19th century gothic literature, and murder mysteries.
HSS Graduate Student Assistant
Abigayle Edler is a Library and Information Science graduate student at the University of Iowa. Abigayle is interested in medieval history, archival conservation, and special collections management. In her free time, Abigayle enjoys going on walks and doing various fiber arts crafts.

Bel Lynch is a graduate student in the Master of Library and Information Science program and is also pursuing the certificate in Special Collections and Archives. Bel is interested in reference and archival work and would like to improve awareness and access to materials in her future career.

Olivia Bishop (she/they) is an undergraduate-to-graduate (U2G) student studying English and Creative Writing with a minor in ASL and Library and Information Science. Her research experiences consist of literature, children’s stories, history, Deaf culture, and American Sign Language. She is passionate about accessibility and is ready to help you find what you need.

Josie Taylor is a graduate student in Library and Information Science with an interest in outreach and engagement in all types of libraries. In her free time, she enjoys going to the movies and hanging out with her cats.

Theo Prineas is a Books, Library, and Information Science graduate student with a decade of experience spanning public, academic, and special libraries. Theo reads broadly, but comes home to SF/F, and does embroidery during free time. Theo is a Graduate Assistant in Special Collections, and Assistant to the ALA President.
Evening Research Assistance Graduate Student
Chase Stoudt is a graduate student in the Masters of Library and Information Science program here at the University of Iowa. He has a broad academic and professional career in the physical sciences and would like to use his experience to help others learn and grow at SEAM. His specialties include reference management and accessing legacy or depreciated collections.
