Welcome to the University of Iowa Libraries, the largest library system in the state of Iowa, which includes the Main Library and six branches that each serve specialized areas of study (Art Library, Lichtenberger Engineering Library, Hardin Library for the Health Sciences, Pomerantz Business Library, Rita Benton Music Library, and the Sciences Library). More than 250,000 rare books and miles of manuscript materials are also stewarded among its extensive distinctive collections. The Libraries are more than just a collection of materials; there are experts in areas from the health sciences to the humanities and everything in between to help answer your questions.

This guide will introduce you to the many resources and services at the Libraries and help guide you on your next visit.
