Welcome to the University of Iowa Libraries, the largest library system in the state of Iowa. The University’s Main Library, Hardin Library for the Health Sciences, 5 branch libraries, and the Law Library contain more than 5 million volumes. The UI Libraries are more than just a collection of materials; there are experts in areas from the Health Sciences to the Humanities and everything in between to help answer your questions.
This guide will introduce you to the many resources and services at the Libraries and help guide you on your next visit.
Watch this video for an overview of library collections and services, plus to meet the Music library's awesome dog, Wülfie.
Saturdays, 10:00-10:00PM (may change during home football games)
The Main Library, including our campus libraries reopened June 1st to community members. Faculty, staff, and students no longer will need to swipe in to enter the buildings.
