Fall Tree Tour - Wednesday, Oct. 16
Join us Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024, for the Fall Tree Tour at 11 a.m. beginning with a presentation on trees and followed by tree walk with Andy Dahl, Carolina Kaufman, and Laurie Neuerburg. The presentation will be held at the Sciences Library, 120 Iowa Ave. The tree walk will start there after the presentation at noon. This event is free and open to the public.

Roots of Medicine joins the UI College of Pharmacy Medicinal Garden with resources from the John R. Martin Rare Book Room at the Hardin Library for the Health Sciences and databases from the National Institutes of Health.

Chris Childs, Matt Regan, and Damien Ihrig from Hardin Medical Library at the University of Iowa discussed how they have teamed up with the College of Pharmacy, a local gardening group, and a horticulture expert from Iowa State University, to create The Roots of Medicine project.
