The Literary Grove features saplings originating from trees owned by or connected to famous authors and poets including William Faulker, Robert Frost, Alex Haley, and Edgar Allan Poe.

New trees were planted with a historical connection to renowned authors near the Iowa Writers’ Workshop at the Dey House on October 23, 2020.
