What is it?
Have you ever come across a source that you are unable to access through the UI Libraries? If so, Interlibrary Loan is your answer. Interlibrary loan is a free service for all UI students, staff, and faculty that allows you to request books, articles, reports, theses, microfilm, videos and other research materials not owned by UI Libraries.
If it’s your first time using interlibrary loan, you will need to fill out a simple registration form.
