Guide to adding publications to the APR

Direct imports from PubMed

If your publications are indexed in PubMed, you can import them directly into APR Publications.import add new item buttons in APR

1. Select Import  Items

2. Select Import from Third Party, and Select PubMed from the Select a service dropdown menu.   Importing by PMID (PubMed ID) is the easiest way to add individual records.  Select PMID from the dropdown list and fill in the PubMed ID number.

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you don't have a PMID number, you can search PubMed by selecting options from the dropdown menu and clicking the + sign to add other options.

3. If this is the correct record, click the box to the right and click the Continue button.

4. If this publication is not in the APR for this author, you should see a "review and finish" screen.  Select "finish import" button and then "import records".  If this was successful, you should get a confirmation notice.
