Sustainable development codes  

This is a great resource if you want to know what cities can do (and are doing) to promote social and environmental sustainability.  It spotlights best practices, and includes a comparison and examples of local codes that address climate change and environmental resources, natural hazards, land use and community character, mobility/transportation, social justice, health and food security, and energy. The UI Law School contributed. 

Planning 2050 

This initiative focuses on assessment, and looks at data analytics and systems thinking to map large impact scalable/replicable actions. 

 Climate assessments  

The Iowa climate assessment is underway. It will be on this page when it’s complete. In the meantime, you can look at climate assessments for IL, NE, MN, WI .
