Evening Research Assistance

RESEARCH DOESN'T HAVE TO BE HARD

The UI Libraries has a dedicated service providing evening research support, helping students develop and improve research skills and critical thinking. We offer the resources and assistance students need to become successful researchers.

Bring your assignment in or your research ideas and we will sit down with you to discuss where to start looking for sources using Library databases and how to find credible sources online. You can ask about citations, where to find newspaper sources, scholarly articles, and more.

Drop in during our open hours located at the 1st floor Main Library Just Ask desk, Sun - Thurs. 5PM - 9PM or visit our website, www.lib.uiowa.edu/evening-research/ to schedule an appointment.

Need assistance?

Did you know that you can meet with a librarian (for free) and get assistance with your research? You can! You can utilize this service as frequently as you need, and we love repeat visitors!
