Citing Business Sources

Better safe than sorry. Always cite!

Using Chicago Style

The Chicago Manual of Style presents two basic documentation systems: notes and bibliography or author-date.

Examples

Author-date citation for a website:

McDonald’s Corporation. 2008. “McDonald’s Happy Meal Toy Safety Facts.” Accessed July 19. http://www.mcdonalds.com/corp/about/factsheets.html.

Notes and bibliography for a website:

“McDonald’s Happy Meal Toy Safety Facts,” McDonald’s Corporation, accessed July 19, 2008, http://www.mcdonalds.com/corp/about/factsheets.html.
