Getting Help

Tippie College Business Communications Center and University of Iowa Writing Center  are free services offered to students who wish to improve their writing.  The Writing Center helps any UI student with assignments. UI students can sign up for weekly tutoring, 30 minute appointments, and online tutoring.

How do I begin?

First things first. What citation style is your professor asking for? MLA is commonly used in the humanities, such as English.  Chicago Style is a popular choice for history and law.  APA is used mostly in the social sciences.  Here at the business school, most professors want either APA or Chicago. When in doubt, just ask!
