County Geology Reports
County geology reports for 93 of Iowa’s 99 counties were reprinted as separate monographs from reports that originally appeared in Iowa Geological Survey Annual Reports. Included in the preliminaries of some reports is a four-page “Introduction to County Geology” that provides “a brief resume of the geology of the state as a whole.” Reports for some counties were combined with one or more other counties. Geology reports were not published for the following counties: Audubon, Calhoun, Floyd, Greene, Shelby, and Union.
