Business Research Course: Competitive Intelligence Resources (06B:050)

A business Librarian teaches this one credit-hour, six-week course. Students receive instruction in business research tools and strategies. Three sections are offered during the Fall and Spring semesters.

Course Description
The purpose of this course is to introduce students to concepts and sources of business information. Students will use the Pomerantz Business Library web site and the physical location (3rd floor of PBB) to research business topics. Sources are available in print and online.  Students can access the online information sources from a home computer or any campus computer.  The print sources discussed are available in the Pomerantz Business Library. There are four assignments that require students to use the resources discussed during class.
