Mary Jane Odell papers. 1936-2002. Television journalist and politician who served as Iowa Secretary of State from 1980 to 1986.
Tom Brokaw papers. NBC news anchor and reporter who covered over 50 years of world events and worked with women in broadcasting from the 1960s to 2010s, including Barbra Walters and Jane Pauley. Correspondence between Brokaw and Barbra Walters, Diane Sawyer, and other women broadcast journalists are contained in the Correspondence series of the collection. His papers highlight how the role women played in broadcast journalism evolved greatly between the start of Brokaw's career and his retirement.
