Victorian British, Irish, and Scottish Literature (ENGL TBD, 2359, 3339)
What's the Difference Between Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Sources?
Primary Sources are either the text itself or from the time period in which a text was written.
Secondary Sources comment on the text and reflect on it from a period of historical remove; often, but not always, these sources are scholarly.
Tertiary Sources combine insights from primary and secondary sources to present a summary of facts.
