Basic Reference Interviewing
A reference interview is a conversation between someone seeking information and a library person who can help them find it. Often, information seekers can't initially articulate what they're looking for and in a good reference interview you can reassure folks and ask neutral and open ended questions to help them think about and explain what they actually need.
