Undergraduate Lockers

Assigned lockers for undergraduates are available on the first floor. The are just past the New Books and The Perch, and across from the One Button Studio. Apply the first day of class of each term (fall, spring, and summer) here:

Daily Use Lockers

Daily Use Lockers

Visitors are welcome to use our daily use lockers, located near the Madison Street (east) entrance on the first floor.

To Lock:

  • Place items in locker.
  • Press the Start button.
  • Enter your own 4 digit code.
  • Press the button.

To Open:

  • Press start.
  • Re-enter your own 4 digit code.
  • Press theunlock iconbutton.
  • Remove items.

Please note:

  1. Lockers are emptied before close every day and contents taken to the lost & found at the Service Desk. After 5 days items are routed to the Department of Public Safety lost and found: police.uiowa.edu/services/lost-found.
  2. The Libraries reserves the right to inspect locker contents.
  3. Lockers may not be altered permanently.
  4. The Libraries reserves the right to terminate your locker use at any time for campus security violations and/or student misconduct.
  5. Do not store perishable or prohibited items in the locker.

The Daily Use Lockers sign, which tells visitors they are welcome to use the lockers. The sign also provides a list of rules for using the Daily Use Lockers as well as steps for locking and opening the Daily Use Lockers.
