Are we missing something?

Know of a great resource that is not on this list?  Let us know!

Welcome to the Consumer Health Resource Guide.  This guide is free to everyone.

How to use this guide:

The Patient Resources, Health Topics, Addiction/Substance Abuse, Child Health & Development, Mental Health Issues and Medical Research: What You Need to Know tabs open up a list of topics. Click on a health topic to open up a page of websites that you can use to find information on that topic.

The next two tabs contain health information in Spanish.

The last two tabs take you to resources guides on Senior Health and Obesity.

If the health topic that you are looking isn't listed under any of the tabs on this guide, search MedlinePlus for information on over 800 health topics or go to the Patient Resources tab for more websites.

You can also use the Table of Contents to find a particular health topic.

Choosing Wisely

Dr.James McCormack, Pharm.D., professor in the faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of British Columbia, is back with another medical dance hit, this time to the club anthem "Happy" by Pharrell Williams. McCormack swaps out Williams' lyrics for his own on the benefits of making wise choices related to medical procedures.
