Known Issues

Word 2016 for Mac (August 28, 2015) There is a known compatibillity issue for those who are using Word 2016 for Mac. EN is working on an update to allow it to work, and it is supposed to be ready sometime in Sept/Oct. of 2015. A document from EN is attached that details their advice.

We have communicated this to University of Iowa ITS and they reported that installing Office 2011 is an option if there for those unable to wait for update. Students may visit or contact ITS with questions about Office installation.

How to get EndNote Desktop?

Please note that EndNote Desktop is available for free to faculty, staff, and graduate students only. Undergraduates will need to use EndNote Basic, purchase EndNote from the University Bookstore, or choose another citation management program from this tab.
