John Elson is the Federal and State Information Librarian. His experience with government information goes back to 1999, when he became a library assistant in the former Government Publications Department. As a member of the Undergraduate Engagement Department, he works to provide needed information to the greater University of Iowa Community. John also serves as the Regional Librarian for the Federal Depository Library Program in the State of Iowa.
