Research Consultations

Librarians are available to meet with you one-on-one for a research consultation. A research consultation is basically a private appointment to talk with a librarian about finding resources, sources, and specific research questions in that area. After answering a few questions, we will determine which librarian is best fit to help with your particular need. To request a consultation, complete a simple form here:

The SEAM - Students Engage at Main

The SEAM is a dedicated service for supporting undergraduate students develop and improve research skills and critical thinking. We offer the resources and assistance students need to become successful researchers.
Bring your assignment in or your research ideas and we will sit down with you to discuss the basics of where to start looking for sources using Library databases or help you locate credible online sources. You can ask about citations, where to find newspaper sources, scholarly articles, and more. 
Drop-in or schedule an appointment, either in-person or virtual from Sundays through Thursday, 5:00PM - 9:00PM.
