Hardin 101: Room reservations

How to find Hardin Library materials, make room reservations, and borrow materials from other libraries.

Classroom reservations

Information Commons East and Information Commons West are computer labs.  Each seat 50, with 25 computers running Windows 10.

Classrooms may be reserved by any faculty, staff, department, or student organization.

Learning Lounge

The Learning Lounge in Information Commons East has two group study rooms that seat four each as well as two tables which seat up to six for a total capacity of up to 20.

Each study or booth has a 55” monitor equipped with Mersive Solstice software that allows users to wirelessly share the screens of their laptops or mobile devices by connecting using either a browser or the free Solstice app.  Directions for connecting are shown on the monitors.  White boards are also available in the Learning Lounge.

The lounge may be used for small group activities, classes, or as a study space.  Users must bring their own devices to connect to the monitors.

Group study reservations

Group study rooms are available on floors 2, 3, and 4.  Rooms vary in size and available technology.  More information about each room is available in the reservation system.
