InDesign is a page design and layout app. The following instructions may differ depending on the version and operating system (Mac or Windows) InDesign is running on.

Creating a Slide Using InDesign
Open InDesign and select File > New > Document. Click OK.
Click on InDesign CC in the upper left corner of the window. Select Preferences > Units & Increments. Select pixels in the Horizontal dropdown box and the Vertical dropdown box. Select OK.
Select File > Document Setup. Change the Width to 1920 pixels and the Height to 1080 pixels. Select OK.

Next, Choose File > Package > Package > Save (name the file using our Guidelines on Naming Your File) > Continue > (save to appropriate folder in Communications folder on the L Drive) > Package
