Narration
- Practice with a friend or listen to recordings of yourself
- Notice how you might improve, e.g. smooth out a transition or practice parts over again to avoid saying filler words such as “um”
- Time yourself and adjust as needed
Presentation slides
- Create an outline
- Share one concept per slide
- Avoid excessive text
- Include images that support your points
- Make tables large and easy to see
- Use at least 24 point; larger is better
- Use contrasting fonts for legibility
Image Attribution for Presentations
Giving attribution for images used in your presentations does not need to be as formal as the citations in your lab report. Give attribution below the images in presentations using this format:
