Sara is the Director of the Scholarly Impact department in the UI Libraries, which works to support researchers and scholars in all stages of their careers and across disciplines in navigating the scholarly publishing landscape and maximizing the impact of their work by providing assistance with:

• research data management and sharing,
• open access publishing,
• open educational resources,
• researcher profile systems and social media tools,
• bibliometrics and research assessment,
• and copyright and licensing.

Her research interests include research assessment, scholarly publishing, and research data management.
