National Voter Registration Day is a huge national effort to get as many people to register to vote as possible.
All are welcome to stop by to register to vote, or update your new address, on Tuesday, September 26, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Main Library, Group Area D (just across from the cafe). The League of Women Voters of Johnson County and volunteers from student organizations at the University of Iowa will be on hand to register voters.
Note: College Students have a choice to register to vote at their home address or at their school address. If you want to register to vote while you're going to school, come see us to register or visit the Johnson County, Iowa's Auditor Office website. If you want to vote at your home address, we can help you request an absentee ballot.
