Citing Sources: Chicago Style

Better safe than sorry. Always cite!

Useful Tools

Purdue University Online Writing Lab (OWL) - an extensive guide to research, writing, and formulating citations.

Both Citation Machine  and BibMe are free and easy to use. They create a citation for you automatically.

Using Chicago Style

The Chicago Manual of Style presents two basic documentation systems: notes and bibliography or author-date.

Examples
