Latino/Native American Cultural Center
The Latino Native American Cultural Center at the University of Iowa is dedicated to provide a permanent setting where students from various cultures can be nurtured and enhanced on the University of Iowa campus. The LNACC is available for programming and as a venue for group and organization events. Wireless internet, tv/vcr/dvd, a fully stocked kitchen, study rooms, lounge space--anything you need to host a program, make a meal, study or relax and socialize with friends.
Latino Medical Student Association - University of Iowa Roy J. & Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine
The purpose of the LMSA-UICCOM is to address the health needs of the Latino community, as well as to create an environment for academic and social support for individuals in the health care professions who will strive to improve the access and delivery of healthcare to Latinos and medically underserved populations.
Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers
SHPE helps promote diversity in the community and helps it members network.
University of Iowa Minority Student Nurse Association
The UI Minority Student Nurse Association is open to any nursing and/or pre-nursing student interested in promoting diversity and cultural awareness within the College of Nursing and in the community. Meeting regularly, the UIMSNA performs community service and outreach activities, and conducts educational and informational forums related to current nursing issues, diversity and/or cultural awareness issues and any other topic that could benefit nursing students and the community.
Multi-Ethnic Engineering And Science Association
MESA serves as a collaborative organization of several multicultural groups including (but not limited to) the National Society of Black Engineers and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. MESA serves as a support group for students seeking an inclusive community of learning, scholarship, and service. We strive for cultural diversity, empowerment for U.S. and international students, and retention of minorities traditionally underrepresented in Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Community outreach programs and leadership conferences are examples of MESA activities.
Sigma Lambda Beta
The Fraternity was formed to promote a positive image of the Latino community in the University of Iowa by promoting scholastic achievements, eternal Brotherhood, the dissemination of our unique and rich culture, and service to our community.
Sigma Lambda Gamma
Sigma Lambda Gamma is a Latina-based sorority with multicultural membership founded on April 9, 1990 at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. Today, Sigma Lambda Gamma is the largest, Latina-based multicultural national sorority, and the fastest growing fraternal organization in chapters and alumnae associations throughout the United States.

American Indian Science & Engineering Society-U of I Stdt

Purpose: AISES is a national nonprofit organization which nurtures building of community by blending science and technology with traditional Native values. Through its educational programs, AISES provides opportunities for American Indians and Native Alaskans to pursue studies in science, engineering and technology arenas. The trained professional then become technologically informed leaders within the Indian community. AISES' ultimate goal is to be a catalyst for the advancement of American Indian and Native Alaskans as they seek to become self-reliant and self-determined members of society.

Purpose: The major purpose of the Centers is to meet the needs of students through a variety of programs and services. In conjunction with the Office of Student Life, they offer students a wide array of diverse cultural, academic, and personal support services to facilitate their growth, success, and adjustment to the University.

Purpose: The goals of this alumni group is to support our youth, community, and students of The University of Iowa; utilizing and strengthening our collective resources for networking; and advancing and recruiting students to The University of Iowa.
