Welcome to the Entrepreneurial Marketing course guide. Use the links and materials on this guide to find info for your project. To navigate use the links below or the left navigational bar (note: the left has subcategory links).
If you are new to an industry or market, start with industry reports that focus on the national or global environment. These reports focus on the "big picture" in which a business operates. The reports offer info on industry trends, outlook, revenues and more. **Useful sources include IBISWorld, MarketLine Advantage, Mintel, and Market Research Academic (see the industry and Market tab on this guide)
Great sources for consumer behavior information are Mintel and Marketresearch Academic. These sites offer info at the global or national level. If you need consumer preference info at a local level try SimplyMap (see local info tab on this guide).
If you would like to find a list of companies in an industry and filter to the state, city or country level, two great sources are Lexis Nexis Academic and Simply Map --which includes this info in the Points feature.
